From Arusha, you’ll travel to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and unique baobab trees, where you’ll camp in a public campsite surrounded by nature. Next, the safari takes you to Lake Natron, a remote and scenic location known for its dramatic landscapes and flamingos. After exploring Lake Natron, the tour continues to the Serengeti National Park, where you’ll enjoy two days of game drives and stay at a central campsite, providing an excellent opportunity to witness the diverse wildlife of this iconic park. The journey then moves to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with a stay at a campsite on the crater rim offering breathtaking views and easy access to game drives within the caldera. The final stop is Lake Eyasi, where you’ll experience the local culture and stay in a budget hotel. The safari concludes with a transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure. This tour combines budget-friendly accommodations with a rich wildlife experience, ensuring a memorable adventure through Tanzania’s northern parks.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to Arusha where you’ll spend the night at the Charity Hotel. This comfortable budget hotel provides a relaxing start to your safari, with time to prepare for the adventures ahead. The drive from the airport to Arusha takes about 1 hour, covering a distance of approximately 50 km. Dinner is included at the hotel, while breakfast is not provided on this first day.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The journey to Tarangire covers around 120 km and takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Upon arrival, set up camp at Migomban Campsite, where you’ll enjoy a night in the heart of the park. The evening will be spent around a campfire, with all meals included.

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Natron On this day, you’ll head to Lake Natron, a remote and scenic destination known for its alkaline waters and stunning landscapes. The drive is approximately 200 km and takes around 4 to 5 hours. At Natron Budget Camp, you’ll set up for an overnight stay, experiencing the beauty of this unique area. All meals are included at the camp.

Day 4: Lake Natron – Serengeti National Park After breakfast, travel to Serengeti National Park, famous for its expansive plains and incredible wildlife. The drive to Serengeti is about 220 km and takes roughly 5 to 6 hours. You’ll stay at Seronera Campsite, situated in the central Serengeti, and enjoy an afternoon game drive. All meals are included at the campsite.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti on game drives. Discover the diverse wildlife that roams these vast plains, including the famous Great Migration (seasonal). Return to Seronera Campsite for the night. All meals are included at the campsite.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater In the morning, travel to Ngorongoro Crater, an impressive volcanic caldera with a rich array of wildlife. The journey covers around 150 km and takes about 3 to 4 hours. You will stay at Migomban Campsite on the crater rim, preparing for the next day’s crater tour. All meals are included at the campsite.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Eyasi After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive, then proceed to Lake Eyasi. The drive is approximately 100 km and takes around 2 to 3 hours. Spend the night at Charity Hotel in Lake Eyasi, where you can enjoy local cultural experiences. All meals are included.

Day 8: Departure On the final day, transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. The drive from Lake Eyasi to the airport covers around 150 km and takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. Breakfast is included before you leave.
